We have decided that the proceeds from both shows of PILGRIM, our musical play, will be going to Team Super Seraph.
Seraph is a 4 year old living in Hitchin, with High Risk Neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of paediatric cancer, with only a 40% chance of surviving the next 5 years. In 2017, he was just a normal 3 year old, finding his feet at nursery, making new friends, climbing on everything.
After falling from his cot before Christmas, he broke his arm and after multiple trips to A+E, an exploratory ultrasound revealed an abdominal tumour and after further investigation, cancer in his skeleton and bone marrow.
Only four years old, Seraph has already been through so much, with surgery, chemotherapy, stem cell transplant and over five weeks of radiotherapy.
Our #WRBC150 Celebration production of PILGRIM has been planned for several months but in supporting the production, your money will be helping the huge effort by many across #Hitchin in raising funds to enable Seraph to travel abroad for treatment to avoid a relapse.
