Lezha Youth Camp 2024

A selection of photos from Harold's recent trip to Lezha, Albania to help at their summer 'Youth Camp'.

This was the sky Monday at 6.30pm - pitch black as a storm went over

This was the same sky as the lightning flashed. The storm lasted an hour and a half

A wide range of songs and prayers each day. Harold was able to play piano with the musicians

Aside from the main preaching and worship, there were bible study groups looking at 2 Timothy

Harold had a chance to lead two devotion sessions

This was where Harold got to practise some Albanian!

Harold could manage some Albanian but also had help from a translator

Other group activity was more light-hearted and there were various competitions

Here there was a Bible quiz

This was something else!

The fun activities included trying the climbing wall (not for Harold!)

The swimming pool was the focus for early afternoon and the hottest part of the day

The final evening had a time of quiet prayer, meditation and a chance to reflect. It was moving to see the young people take it so seriously
