Churches Together in Hitchin organised a General Election Hustings with all the local candidates standing to represent Hitchin attending an evening in St Mary's Church on Monday 17 June, chaired by Rev Chris Bunce, Rector of St Mary's Church.
The evening consisted of each candidate speaking briefly on what they are standing for, followed by a time facing questions from the public, before concluding with each candidate giving a closing statement. The event was live-streamed on St Mary's Church YouTube channel and is available to watch back here:

Alistair Strathern - Labour
Chris Lucas - Liberal Democrats
Charles Bunker - Reform UK
William Lavin - Green Party
Sid Cordle - Christian Peoples Alliance
