Churches Together in Hitchin have organised a General Election Hustings with all the local candidates standing to represent Hitchin invited along on Monday 17th June at 7.30pm to an evening in St Mary's Church, Hitchin. The event will be chaired by Rev Chris Bunce, Rector of St Mary's Church.
Candidates will be asked to speak briefly on what they stand for, followed by a time for questions. If you have a question, please submit it in writing to Hitchin Parish Office, Church House, Churchyard, SG5 1HP or email to hitchinparishoffice@gmail.com by noon on Thursday 13th June. A group of church representatives will then select which questions to ask in order to have as wide a range as possible.
The General Election Hustings is open to all and there is no need to book. If you would like to know more, please reach out to Hitchin Parish Office on 01462 452758, between 9am and 1pm each weekday.
