Sunday 9 February is the annual Day of Prayer held by Baptist Missionary Society (BMS) World Mission. BMS World Mission is a Christian mission organisation working in around 30 countries across four continents.
BMS workers and partners strive every day to make Jesus known and share the full life he brings. From legal work to surgery, food projects to education, BMS works with local partners, providing help where it is most needed, among the most marginalised and least evangelised people in the world. Striving every day to make Jesus known and share the full life he brings, the work of BMS is only possible with the support of UK Christians, individuals and churches, who share the vision for a world made better through Christ’s grace.
The church is open from 2.30pm to explore more about BMS and their work. There will be displays of BMS material, films and information, and opportunities for people to learn and pray on a range of BMS topics.
Free to come and go as people wish, with no ‘set times’, but the afternoon will continue into a shorter evening service at 6.30pm concluding the BMS Day of Prayer
