The Purpose of Scouting
The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
The Group was first registered on 18 December 1929 and over the years has offered youngsters a vast range of Scouting activities and experiences. At the end of 2011 membership totalled over 95 young people. We have a committed Leadership team, which is supported by a Group Executive Committee comprising of Parents and ex-

Alternatively, maybe you were previously a Cub or Scout, are now over 18 and wish to join our Leadership team. Please do get in contact. (All adults are required to complete a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) form).
